I’m on the Men’s Leadership team for the ministry. I’m writing this blog as a companion to the events and meetings that our ministry puts on in and around our church. This blog will highlight much of what’s being done in this group, as well as bringing to light a lot of issues related to the lives of Christian men around the world.

Unity in the Body

Reading Ephesians 4 is never a good thing when you’re angry at people, especially other Christians. Unity, among others in the body, is the aim here. Be completely humble and gentle, it says. Definitely teo things I haven’t been lately. Be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity. Sure, that sounds easy enough.

I’ve recently come to blows with the others on the leadership team of our Men’s ministry. I don’t know why other than I prideful, immature and a bit selfish. Reading the word, though, has put me on a right path. I’ve looked at what I’ve been thinking in the last 24 hours and beyond and I cannot continue with it. It’s tiring. It’s draining me. Above all, it’s silly. I should do what it says here and bear with them in love. The things I heard in my head last night were purely of the evil one, trying to put forth an environment of discord. Enough of this.
