1. Purpose

What does it mean to be filled with the Holy Spirit?  Can someone have it all the time?  Are we merely filled when we’re born again and that’s it?  I doubt it.  There are times when I find myself drug down by the world, definitely not filled with anything but disdain and a sense of worthlessness.  I feel this and wonder sometimes if God has forgotten about me.  It’s a pitiful sight to see me in this state.  Why on Earth would my Lord and savior forget about me?!  He made me, along with the universe, and how could I possibly think He’s moved on to other, more important matters?  What makes Him good is that He’s everywhere, all the time!  In “Being Filled,” I want to share with you the times when the Holy Spirit is working on me and through me as well as the times when I feel alone and can’t find comfort.  I want to work through these times with you, so you may some times find what you’re looking for and need.  If you have comments, feel free to post them.  I’m not a blogger who does this as a means to make myself look good.  This is about glorifying The Father, The Son, and the Holy Spirit!  He is GOOD!
